Faster burns have more write errors. I have had this problem for quite some time and still cannot figure out the problem. I made the mistake of buying the -R and never had a good burn to play any of my DVD's. DVD+R is not as well-read (compatible) on players as DVD-R, especially on older machines. I usually use DVD-Rs.
